Ford Motor Co. issued two safety recalls today.
The first recall affects 2014-18 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles in which the steering wheel could come off because of a loose bolt.
The recall affects nearly 1.4 million of these vehicles. If it's not serviced, a steering wheel could potentially detach and lead to a loss of steering control and increased risk of a crash. Ford said it's aware of two accidents with one injury allegedly related to this condition.
